Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Sector Analyst in terms of analysis, forecasting and communication with investors.  
• Develop an expertise in an specific sector.
• Establish a close dialogue with leading Mexican companies in these sectors.
• Proactive communication with Santander teams Mexico, Sao Paulo New York, and London.
• Learn about the equity markets by tracking listed-company news and results.
• Maintain financial models and propose forecasts using different valuation methodologies.
• Collaboration with analysts in other sectors and overall Equity Strategy teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuary, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business.  
• Master’s Degree also a plus.
• Experience (3-4 years) in either equity research, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting or similar.
• Having works with financial models, and with pre-disposition for attention to detail.
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  Bloomberg and/or Capital IQ knowledge a plus.
• Self-motivated learner with a desire to develop a career in international finance. 
• Strong analytical skills. Flexible in working hours. Excellent spoken and written English.
