This person will be responsible for prospecting new laboratory opportunities as well as converting inquiries into qualified leads that are passed to the lab sales organization to close. The position requires a high degree of phone usage for inbound and outbound calls.  The Lab Sales Lead Coordinator, Team Lead must be entrepreneurial, hardworking, inquisitive, diligent and passionate about delivering great customer and team experiences.  In addition, this position will be responsible for leading and verifying the daily administrative activities of the lab lead coordinator team, building and delivering training curriculum, as well as answering questions and being a first level escalation point to the Lab Sales Lead Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Collection & Research: Prospects for and manages the daily intake of leads from various sources.  Researches leads using the appropriate internal and external resources & information.

2. Customer Engagement: Contacts and engages with leads to profile, assess interest, provide information, and warm leads for further engagement with the corresponding Lab Sales team.  Follows up on any other unassigned leads and customer requests.

3. Delivery & Reporting:  Provides qualified lead information to the corresponding lab sales team. Tracks team lead activity manually and through systems such as Salesforce.com (SFDC).  Monthly pulls and/or creates reports to track team progress to goals.

4. Team selling: Collaborates to the overall lab sales team by accomplishing related tasks as needed.  Builds great relationships with teammates.  May perform other duties as assigned.  Set appointments and hand off leads to lab specialists and/or corresponding Account Executives.

5. Team Lead: Leads and verifies the day-to-day administrative activities of the Lab Lead Coordinator team.  Ensures usage of SFDC by the team for daily prospecting and customer creation and the strategic coordination with external and internal sources. Assist in the development of new Lab Lead Coordinators through training curriculum development, coaching activities related to time management, profiling and qualifying accounts, answering general product/sales questions, using SFDC,  and other lead resources for account targeting while processing customer transactions.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education/Training –

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business knowledge/experience

Business Experience –

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience, Management experience, Customer Service or Telemarketing preferred
  • Strong keyboarding proficiency
  • Working knowledge of internet technology, PC workstation databases and other resources for research

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
  • Computer platform skills and ability to navigate multiple screens and platforms
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexible shift variations between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday-Friday required

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,800 - $114,600
