Role Definition:

The Digital consultant will be responsible for the governance and management of FG Wilson Salesforce (Commercial Processes). 

The individual will also lead specific projects aimed at leveraging the capability of the Salesforce system, working with the Salesforce design team to develop solutions in line with the business need.


Provides guidance and support on advanced features, customizing, implementing and integrating the digital product.

Responsibilities

  • Project lead on FGW Salesforce projects, writing user stories, process documentation and managing the execution of the business solution between the business and Salesforce design team
  • Drives FGW Salesforce process improvement, documentation improvement and provides training (including documentation) support to internal and Dealer partners
  • Develops FGW Salesforce roadmap in line with FG Wilson digital strategy
  • Responsible for FGW Salesforce Governance and Process Metrics Dashboard (creation/development/maintenance), collaborating with process owners and stakeholders to review projects, enhancements, licencing, and support
  • Provides support on major and/or critical implementation or operational issues.
  • Contributes to policies and practices for product design, training, documentation, and problem resolution.
  • Coordinates with product management on solutions to design, reliability, performance, and maintenance issues.
  • Designs and implements methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for monitoring software reliability and resolving product problems

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
•    Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
•    Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.
•    Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.
•    Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.

Pricing Models and Analytics: Knowledge of pricing tools, techniques and methods; ability to assess analytical and pricing models through the use of statistical principles.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Interprets common risk/pricing models, statistical data, and reports; resolves common modeling problems.
•    Assists in calculating data for monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and reporting aggregate risks.
•    Reports the results of risk pricing models/analytics and validation to management.
•    Participates in gathering and documenting data and statistical measurements.
•    Follows proper procedures for using the functions and features of risk measurement and statistical tools.


Software Product Training: Knowledge of software product training; ability to create and deliver training on the implementation, operation and utilization of technology products and systems.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Incorporates specific audience circumstances and needs into instruction.
•    Provides demos and instruction on basic functions and features of the product.
•    Reviews and provides feedback on technical training materials and content.
•    Delivers programs using lesson plans and materials of varying styles and degrees of detail.
•    Walks through available training and learning resources and coaches on effective usage.

Software Release Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for managing versions and distribution of software products and enhancements; ability to evaluate and improve release management practices and tools.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Is informed on process and status of release testing, validating, packaging and deployment plans.
•    Describes major conversion and migration issues and considerations.
•    Helps deploy new releases for one or more products.
•    Distributes communications, with guidance, about product release delays.
•    Participates in coordinating or compiling documentation to accompany each release.

Change Control: Knowledge of the processes and procedures by which a change is identified, evaluated, approved, monitored and documented; Ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively+
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Identifies, evaluates, approves, monitors and documents proposed changes to the production environment.
•    Identifies errors that occur during change execution, and takes action in correcting these errors.
•    Conducts impact analyses to determine the effect change might have on the status of existing systems.
•    Prevents unauthorized or unintended deviations in compliance with that of change control policies.
•    Follows the established change control process to ensure the performance of emergency repair and maintenance.
