Associate Technical Lead - Android

We are currently on the lookout for an Associate Technical Lead - Android to join our team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own the technical design, development, and long-term maintainability of Android applications in the Warehouse domain. 

• Serve as the primary communication bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and effective collaboration with both US and local teams. 

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to a team of 2–3 developers, driving engineering best practices, code quality, and mentoring. 

• Lead end-to-end delivery of features and bug fixes, including planning, estimation, execution, and release accountability. 

• Continuously evaluate, introduce, and champion modern Android technologies, architectures, and tools to improve scalability and developer productivity. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 

• 5+ years of hands-on Android application development experience. 

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and solid Java skills. 

• Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.). 

• Solid understanding of modern Android app architecture, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization. 

• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and/or Flow for asynchronous programming. 

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs. 

• Proficiency with UI development using XML and modern UI frameworks (Jetpack Compose is preferred). 

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric, etc.). 

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger/Hilt. 

• Proficient with Git and modern source control workflows. 

• Ability to own deliverables and guide junior developers.
