Title: Commercial Senior Manager, EU Distributor Markets

Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director – EU Distributor Markets, the Commercial Senior Manager will be responsible for the achievement of Commercial goals in select distributor markets where Insulet doesn’t have a direct presence in Europe. This will be achieved through effective distributor management ensuring the flawless implementation of Insulet’s commercial, market access and marketing strategies in the territories. In addition to the leadership in existing markets this role will also work in conjunction with the Senior Director, EU Distributor Markets to identify and onboard suitable partners in identified expansion markets within Europe. It will be pivotal to be able co-ordinate cross functional teams to ensure they are working in alignment to support our distributor partners, both new and existing, achieve our joint commercial goals. The Commercial Senior Manager will play a central role in the leadership of business development, pricing and commercial policy in the distributor markets and be a key member of the EU distributor management team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning

· Work with Distributor to achieve Commercial Targets in terms of Revenue, New Customer Acquisition and Customer Base by implementing Insulet’s Commercial, Marketing and Market Access strategies.

· Development and implementation of annual business plan and quarterly forecast accuracy.

· Provision of accurate demand planning for markets

· Manage OPEX budget

· Work with Market Access to achieve corporate goals with regards to pricing

Market Expansion

· Distributor scoping, due diligence and onboarding for identified expansion geographies

· Works in conjunction with Sales, Medical, Customer Care, Regulatory, Sales Excellence and Marketing to ensure each Distributor has the required support and materials to launch Omnipod in new geographies successfully.

Distributor Management

· Leads on Distributor Management to ensure a positive, constructive working relationship.

· Ensures adherence of distributors to Insulet’s compliance and Distributor’s policy and code of conduct.

· Contract Negotiation and Management

· Seek local business development and partnership opportunities

· Works with Distributor to effectively implement Insulet’s Commercial, Marketing and Market Access Strategy

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in pharmaceutical and medical device marketing / sales / business development leadership roles (preferably with diabetes products)

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

· Ability to influence third party organisations in the development of robust planning.

· Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities with forward looking perspective.

· Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills are required with proven ability to build and maintain relationships

· In-depth understanding of the differing healthcare systems across the EU region including reimbursement and policy

· Adept at adapting plans effectively for optimal impact across multiple geographies.

· Experienced relationship-management expertise, and project management skills.

· Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence without authority, including demonstrated experience gaining senior leader perspectives and support.

· Familiarity with complex, competitive markets preferred.

· Strong contributing member of the leadership team.

· Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community

· Fluent in English a second language is preferred

· Strong computer proficiency and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Travel

· This is a position working across multiple European markets so regular travel is a requirement of the role.

· Approx 40-50% of time.

Note: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/office based as desired). The individual may be located anywhere in Europe where Insulet has a direct market presence.
