About the Role

The Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse will provide safe and effective assessment, treatment and management of patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, and deliver nursing care through:

  • Clinical assessment and monitoring

  • Medication management and monitoring (according to scope of practice)

  • Escalation of deteriorating health status and/or care needs

  • Accurate, comprehensive and timely clinical documentation

Classifications for the EN position will range from IB68 - IB72 ($66,856 - $71,141 per annum pro ra).

Your Contribution

  • Medication endorsed

  • Preferred correctional health experience

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

SVCHS at Port Phillip Prison.
St Vincent's Correctional Health Services (SVCHS) provides primary health, primary mental health and subacute health care services to Port Phillip Prison. The prison is a privately-operated maximum-security prison that caters for 937 males.  SVCHS operates a large outpatient health service (St Thomas’s) and provides on-site subacute healthcare for up to 40 inpatients admitted to the St John’s unit.
