Job Description

The Flex IPT Digital Image Editor is a skilled production technician engaged in the preparation of digital image assets for publication across Nordstrom e-commerce platforms. This role is remote (work-from-home), and office hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. Pacific Time. Total work hours available during any given week are variable and assigned with approximately 3-days advance notice based upon workload availability. Some retail seasonality applies.

The Digital Image Editor FLEX is accountable for meeting daily production requirements, quality expectations, and project deadlines as determined by their team leadership. 

A day in the life… 

• Prepare digital images for web publication.  

• Follow defined processes accurately and efficiently. Processes can include retouching of products and models, image compositing, color overlay, color corrections, and digital fit adjustments. 

• Responsiveness and strong communications skills supporting collaboration with studio production and other related business teams is expected

• Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative 

• Show commitment to team through collaboration and positive, proactive communication 

• Demonstrate productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results 

You own this if you have… 

• Minimum 1-3 years of digital imaging experience or equivalent education 

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge, and creative use of current versions of Adobe Photoshop, including masking, pathing, layers, alpha channels, and shortcuts, and an understanding of color space and color management for web  

• Organized, detail oriented, and deadline driven, with a keen sense of prioritization 

• Working knowledge of current Mac and Windows operating systems

** This is a flexible schedule and on-call, as needed position and not full-time. Hours and scheduling will depend on volume of work ***

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
