Job Description

The Recruiting Senior Consultant II manages mid-to-high level searches while serving as the point-of-contact for individual clients regarding anything and everything talent acquisition. The role develops, directs, plans, and evaluates the external and internal recruitment activities of their assigned team to satisfy the organization's talent requirements. Utilizes extensive knowledge of their clients, industry benchmarking, best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve customer service. The Senior Consultant II embraces complex problem sets and is a subject matter expert and resource for colleagues with less experience.

Key Responsibilities  

 

  • Viewed as a subject-matter expert with regards to recruiting; expected to influence clients at an organizational level with regards to all thing’s talent delivery. 

  • Participates in client/TA projects (outcome of staffing strategy or business change) 

  • Strong knowledge of skills and abilities (competencies) required for assigned business unit. 

  • Possesses knowledge of company goals and competitive position; uses this knowledge to influence others. 

  • Ensures candidate has a positive experience and applies judgment when the recruitment process deviates from standard practice. 

  • Identifies, interviews, and submits strongest candidates to hiring manager (quality, skills and fit) 

  • Perform full-cycle recruiting; maintain excellent relations with hiring managers and candidates and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the phases of the recruitment process. 

  • Consults with stakeholders to deliver an overall staffing strategy that aligns with strategic business goals and the client’s talent philosophy 

 

Experience  

 

  • 3+ years’ experience full-life cycle recruiting required 

  • Blend of both agency and in-house recruiting preferred 

  • Experience hiring in the legal industry, specifically attorneys, highly preferred 

Functional Sills

 

  • Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development: Ability to proactively identify and engage with potential candidates using various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, networking, and direct outreach for mid-to-high level Law & Reg roles.  
  • Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs, and providing consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Ability to align recruitment strategies with broader business goals and talent needs, including workforce planning and market analysis.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skill in utilizing recruitment metrics and analytics to track progress, improve processes, and inform strategic decisions.

Supervisory Responsibilities  
 

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
