Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting solutions including how to leverage standard SAP IS-U ABAP functionality and how to enable requirements
  • Point of contact and subject matter expert for SAP IS-Utilities technical development team and operations teams
  • SAP S4H ABAP-HANA exposure (ABAP-HANA and FIORI)– exposure to CDS View and AMDP
  • BADIs, User Exits, BDCs, Workflows
  • Should have experience on ALE/IDOCs and configurations and IDOC (Intermediate Document) interfaces using jobs and event management.
  • Understand Functional specification document and create Technical specification documents as per the requirements
  • Design, Develop and Maintain SAP Business Workflows and ABAP Web Dynpro applications
  • Hands on experience at HANA compatible developments like CDS views, AMDP, SQL query, SQL functions and ABAP on HANA
  • Good experience in ABAP RICEF's, RFC methodology, Adobe Forms, BADI implementations, User exits, OO ABAP and extended debugging knowledge
  • Knowledge in Custom code push down techniques with practical knowledge of ABAP development toolkit, ADT & expertise in implementing CDS views
  • Strong analytical skills to drive root cause analysis for complex problems involved
  • Debug and correct SAP module problems using ABAP programming language to implement SAP OSS notes
  • Monitoring the workflow systems regularly for performance issues and implement corrective action when necessary
  • Code, troubleshoot, and maintain workflow relevant ABAP programs
  • Responsible for the workflow system's overall health - i.e., that workflows and supporting batch jobs operate with optimal efficiency
  • Experience with BRF, BRF plus, and handling complex requirements with custom events, expressions, process levels, and process schema

Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of experience in SAP IS-U ABAP and 2 + yrs of experience in ABAP S/4 HANA.
  • Knowledge on ABAP Object Oriented Programming and ABAP Objects
  • Development of Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Conversions and Forms
  • Should have worked on S4HANA embedded analytics with at least one implementation experience.
  • Experience of working on Data Dictionary objects - Tables, Views, Structures, Table maintenance
  • Development of Adobe Forms/SMART FORMS/Script for various business requirements
  • Efficient Background Job Scheduling and Monitoring
  • Identify and implement SAP Notes
  • Experience in handling and delivering Change requests and exposure to implementation/ transition projects
  • Strong knowledge in functional areas like SAP SD/ MM and Finance modules
  • Knowledge of handling Incident and root cause analysis
  • Proficient in handling Transport requests using SolMan
  • Extensive knowledge in BAPI’s, RFC’s for interface between SAP and other systems, IDOCs
  • Development/ Support of SAP Netweaver Portal
  • Experience in working in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and Post-Production support projects
  • Work effectively and independently on assigned projects
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with administrators, technical and functional team members, and users
  • Support and promote integration relationships between IT and business functions
  • Offer mentorship to fellow team members and colleagues
  • Train system users effectively
  • Meet established priorities and schedules
  • Learn and apply new concepts in information technology
  • Good in communication (English)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks/technologies and quickly integrate with them for automation of service delivery.
  • DevOps & Agile methodology experience, working with small agile teams with strong ownership and drive
  • The candidate should be a Degree in BE/BTech/MSC/MBA/MCA with good academic records from premier institute
