Job Summary

This summer internship will allow a position to focus on Job Templates, improvement to on-boarding, security documentation, and pushing improvements to the ticket system. Improving on-boarding will assist in improving the hiring of new employees by making sure role-based security / access is applied to accounts. Security documentation will help fill gaps in NIST. Documentation improvements will assist in standardization of work performed.

Job Description

General Description

The IT Intern will support the IT Team in the development of role-based security/access based on job title to ensure standardization of work performed. The IT Intern will be responsible for documentation to ensure gaps are filled in NIST. The individual will work closely with the IT Team as well as managers and leadership to create templates and populate based on specific job titles.
 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Work prefer candidate with Network Security interest.
• Must be self-motivated, team player and committed to the IT Team and Nidec
• Must work well in a team setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to work in a flexible environment 100% which is fast paced, and customer driven
 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology field
