Department overview:

Counterparty Manager (CPM) is an online platform for institutional investors and other financial institutions to exchange documentation and regulatory data efficiently in a secure environment. Through this platform the users are able to:

  • Electronically manage trading accounts on ISDA, FX and MSFTA master agreements
  • Electronically adhere to regulatory requirements by reaching out clients through Outreach360
  • Classify trading entities to amend and share ISDA master agreements
  • Simplify FATCA compliance
  • Streamline AUM / NAV distribution
  • Centralize KYC and client on boarding process
  • Streamline Onboarding & Client Life Cycle Management

Position summary

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in business analysis, process modelling, workflow development and communication. The candidate should also possess strong analytical skills to help the team clearly understand the product requirements and deliver thoughtful, timely solutions.

Duties & Accountabilities

  • Focuses on output quality against defined tasks and activities; use of discretion and initiative; application of specialist knowledge and/or skills
  • Defines concepts of short-term and long-term planning
  • Researches industry trends to understand the short-term tactical and strategic direction of the market
  • Contributes to solution roadmaps which clearly articulate the solution vision and strategy to enable executive buy-in
  • Supports product delivery with timely execution of metrics and other information
  • Researches and compiles information from documented sources on objectives and goals which may impact requirements
  • Identifies incomplete information and seeks clarification when information gathered in the analysis is lacking
  • Documents requirements including customer journey, features, user stories, cross team dependencies, separating core product build vs. integration features, outlining what is in and out of scope
  • Identifies and tracks key stakeholder relationships relevant to project objectives
  • Supports actions to address differing stakeholder interests
  • Contributes to day-to-day working relationships building with stakeholders
  • Documents stakeholder communication needs
  • Analyzes and reviews customer market activity reports
  • Maintains and updates research on customer markets, needs and trends

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in Business or Technology preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Prior working experience on working with Email generation software, Email templating & document management experience would be a strong plus
  • Analytical and well organized
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Expertise in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint
  • Experience as a business analyst in the financial markets
  • Experience with new software product launch a strong plus
  • A background working with the implementation of US/European regulatory reforms, KYC initiatives, or client onboarding is highly desirable

Commercial awareness

  • Experience working in a Bank or Asset manager as a product specialist is a plus
  • Experience working at a solution vendor servicing FS client is a plus

Management requirements

  • Able to work competently on his/her own or within a team
  • Able to mentor and manage junior staff

Technical requirements

  • Experience with relational databases and querying with SQL
  • Experience with rules engines / workflow applications
  • Experience working UX technologies would be a plus
