The Role:  

As a Senior Sales Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our company through strategic analysis, market research, and commercial initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights, execute plans, and provide strategic recommendations to support the sales, marketing, and finance team. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for growth. Analyze market data, customer insights, and industry reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth. Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track key sales indicators. Provide actionable insights to the sales team and senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Presentations: Create compelling sales presentations and pitches for potential clients, partners, and investors. Tailor messaging and content to effectively communicate the company's value proposition, differentiation, and competitive advantages.
  • Purchase Order Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of purchase order management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and fulfillment of sales orders. Monitor and resolve any issues related to purchase orders, including discrepancies and delays.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with commercial leadership to develop and refine GTM strategies and objectives. Translate market insights from SPINS and other data sources into actionable plans that support revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage.
  • Trade Spend Management: Work in partnership with commercial leadership and finance to set trade plans and reconcile spend to ensure in-line with budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, evaluate pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and cost structures to optimize revenue generation and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Demand Planning: Forecast customer demand as part of S&OP process to help support production decisions and predict sales trends
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, R&D, operations, and other departments to align business efforts with overall company objectives. Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer acquisition tactics.

 Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proven track record of driving business results and executing successful business development initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Compensation:  
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. In addition to the salary, this position is eligible for a potential annual bonus and equity! Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
