About the job:

  • Partner with business units as a finance team member to achieve financial objectives by providing timely financial analysis and relevant insights.
  • Together with Taiwan business leaders, prepare and submit financial forecasts and annual plans aligned with business strategy.
  • Provide financial stewardship by monitoring margins and costs, making recommendations to the business, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Lead or collaborate with controllership teams (both Local & APAC regional teams) for responsible accounting areas to manage Taiwan financials.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the financial planning of the Taiwan market by analyzing its business performance and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in P&L forecasting accuracy through rigorous variance analysis and refining underlying assumptions.
  • Perform sales forecasting, budgeting, projections, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare key management reports including sales analysis, monthly management packs, and cash flow and expense tracking reports.
  • Conduct financial reviews with business and functional leaders, adding quality business insights and identifying potential opportunities for improvements.
  • Perform Indirect Channels ("IC") dealers' performance analysis as part of business reviews to drive Stryker Taiwan performance.
  • Provide business support to sales and other functional teams, such as pricing reviews and monitoring sales performance.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial modeling and business case analysis as needs arise.
  • Participate in business process optimization and system implementation projects when required.
  • Coach, advise, or train staff on financial analysis principles.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Finance/Accounting related major).
  • CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Big 4 working experience is an advantage.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  • Familiar with JDE system and Hyperion software is an advantage.
  • Five (5) or more years of working experience in FP&A role preferred.
  • Excellent team player who is able to work independently, harmoniously, and cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Self-motivated and responsible with the ability to work to agreed deadlines.
  • Finance acumen, high ethical standards, and integrity.
