Summary of Job:

Lee Company’s Projects group is a high-performing team that encourages cooperation, teamwork, learning, professional growth and problem-solving with today’s latest technologies and processes. Consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Lee Company, under the direction of the Director of Project Support, the role of the Business Support Specialist is to engage Lee’s Projects group business units to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and help meet their business needs. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of Projects group’s technology investments. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering user requirements to understand the solutions needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • And/or 3+ years of work experience in a business environment with exposure to project management and process development and execution
  • Experience with developing, testing and implementing an ERP system or other business-based software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Construction industry experience a plus

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle stress and a demanding workload while maintaining a positive attitude consistent with this key position
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to build sound relationships and clearly communicate expectations and results with team members and management
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
