OVERVIEW:

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Full-Time Operations Clerk to join our distribution center team in Plainfield,IN! The Operations Clerk provides clerical and administrative support for warehouse processing of inbound and outbound receipts. The Operations Clerk will be responsible for aged case research, floor troubles, mixed SKU and other duties as assigned. Clerical must be able to lift push pull 50lbs repetitively throughout shift and stand in place for long periods of time.    

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input, revise, and monitor information in WM system to ensure the proper distribution of merchandise.  

• Complete WM system documentation in compliance with distribution standards. 

• Verify WM system information adheres to distribution standards and internal procedures. 

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (stores, transportation, supervisors, leads). Generate and distribute internal reports as requested. 

• Resolve or escalate warehouse management issues. Communicate warehouse management issues to stakeholders.

• Instruct, coach, and direct temporary and newer employees as delegated by the Supervisor and commensurate with their job experience and abilities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• <1 year of experience
