About The Position
The Regional Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with assigned municipal, commercial and industrial customers, high visibility institutions, community organizations, elected officials, and local government within Regional Division Operations. Responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of issues occurring in the marketplace in order to understand the impact on assigned accounts.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Engineering, Business, Accounting, Marketing and Communications or related field from an accredited college or university are preferred. Five or more years of experience in utility, rates, financial, field operations required; relationship/account management and customer contact experience required. Two years of sales and service experience preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Possess a thorough working knowledge of electrical and gas distribution and transmission design and operations from having worked in a variety of departments serving customers. Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficiency with other MS Office Suite of applications. Extensive experience analyzing data. Customer Relationship Management (CRM experience). Proficiency with applicable Ameren systems (e.g., OAS, DOJM preferred. Ability to communicate exceptionally and influence credibly at all levels of an organization. Ability to think critically, adapt quickly and provide innovative solutions to challenges. Ability to perform work under time pressure and complete tasks to meet customer expectations. Ability to work beyond normal hours to meet critical needs of sensitive customers as well as deliver on time-sensitive PR concerns.
Additional Information
Ameren’s selection process may include a series of interviews. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Requires availability for weekend on-call duties to meet public responsibilities. Expected to participate in numerous evening stakeholder meetings or night time functions throughout the year.
Compensation Range:
$88,500.00 - $137,200.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
