Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Thomson Reuters Shared Capabilities Group in our Hyderabad Office. With strong technical skills who is ready to lead large scale projects including managing stakeholder relationships, conducting analysis and presenting results, this could be the right job for you.

This Group is responsible for building and operating a suite of best-in-class foundational capabilities that power our products, APIs, and digital sites. This Team is pivotal in driving innovation, improving time-to-market for new product development, creating great customer experiences, and enabling cross-product integration.

About the role:

In this opportunity as Senior Software Engineer Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop and test software systems and/or applications for enhancements and new products  
  • Write code according to coding specifications established for software solutions. 
  • Influence and articulate compelling software solutions for customers and product(s)
  • Deliver software features with exceptional quality, meeting designated release plans and delivery commitments.
  • Solve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Delivers end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projects

About you:

You're a fit for the role of Sr. .Net Software Engineer if your background includes:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in C#.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET WebAPI
  • 2+ experience with Microsoft Sharepoint and GraphAPI
  • Experience with Messaging Architecture like Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, etc.
  • Must have experience with one or more ORM systems like NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.
  • Experience with one or more RDMS like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.
  • Experience with at least one or more NoSQL DB like CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
  • Experience with Azure cloud.
  • Experience using docker, Kubernetes
  • Preferrable to have experience with workflow tools like Camunda, Azure Logic Apps, Workato.
