Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho has an opening for a Full-Stack Software Developer.

You will be working with a small and influential team of full-stack software engineers who often work closely with staff at Micron who are responsible for product engineering, product yield enhancement, and defect analysis. This team is viewed as being a trusted source of domain knowledge and test data expertise. The team applies a wide variety of technologies:  web applications, databases, GUI, and serious number crunching primarily on Linux, Google, and Azure cloud platforms. It is not your run-of-the-mill IT programming job!

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with multiple teams that make up IT, Information security and Technology to drive impactful change.
  • Design, engineering and implementation of application security solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot systems issues.
  • Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and performance analysis of real-time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion

Minimum Qualifications/Experience We are Looking For:

  • BS degree in Computer Science.
  • JAVA: back-end work, web services work, making REST APIs or endpoints, engineering computations, numerical computations.
  • Linux platform experience
  • C/C++: Library creation, shared object creation, build systems familiarity (make, cmake).
  • SQL: creating stored procedures, making SQL queries by hand. General database administration work (doesn't have to be extensive). Capable of creating database schemas, and designing databases, and managing databases and tables, creating indices. Normal forms.
  • Web Applications experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSCS Degree
  • Azure Cloud platform experience
  • Perl experience
