Job Description

Senior Associate, Structured Solutions, Global Client Group

As a Senior Associate, the ideal candidate will be a key member of the structuring team with a focus on developing creative solutions for GCG clients fund and SMA investments. In addition, the candidate should have a strong structuring background with a global understanding of regulatory regimes influencing business from both an asset and liability construct. Skills in insurance accounting, and global regulatory rules, specifically around alternative asset management investments are a plus. A candidate with a broad focus on insurance clients’ unique investment requirements married with an ability to identify and create new investment structures that would be accretive to the business development effort is key. An enthusiastic individual who is skilled in managing multiple initiatives will thrive in this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Aid in the development and execution of structural solutions which allows for greater client access to alternative investments.

  • Help develop third-party insurance solutions globally from both an asset and liability perspective.

  • Responsible for the development of key research and marketing materials specific to our third-party insurance partners.

  • Monitor Global Regulatory Capital/Accounting trends.

  • Contribute to the development of industry whitepapers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Robust structuring and execution skills for rated feeders or ABS

  • Experience in alternatives

  • Global regulatory capital and insurance industry knowledge

Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including
