Description of Role and Practice

As part of Financial Services within Strategy & Consulting, you will serve as a trusted advisor for our Nordic clients, defining strategies in the intersection of business and technology and driving client transformations.

Our team, with its diverse backgrounds and capabilities, has expertise across all areas of banks and insurance companies, focusing on business value and leveraging technology to support it.

What you will do

• Stay informed about industry trends and collaborate with colleagues across Strategy & Consulting to enhance our presence and capabilities with our banking clients

• Build and nurture client relationships, and identify and drive client opportunities

• Provide valuable expertise and insights to our clients

• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring successful project delivery, value-driven recommendations, knowledge transfer and effective advisory

• Analyze and identify value creation and improvement opportunities at the intersection of business, data and technology, with a particular focus on AI.

• Mentor and coach junior colleagues within the team

• Engage with the broader Accenture Financial Services community, as well as other Accenture organization groups to foster collaboration, support business growth and development, and bring the best of Accenture to our clients

Job requirements

We are looking for talented consultants with deep industry expertise, who can help us originate and close new business, shape innovative solutions for our clients, and lead implementations and transformations in our client’s core business. We believe the right candidates have 6-10 years of experience.

We welcome candidates from the consulting industry, as well as those from the banking sector who are interested in pursuing a consulting career.

Primary (most wanted) skills are:

• Core banking (deposits, core processes and functions)

• Digital banking customer experience (internet banking, mobile banking, customer journeys)

• Lending in general, and Danish mortgage products and processes in particular

• Payments

• Credit processes

• Asset and/or wealth management

Consulting key skills would be:

• Primary need: Client advisory services capabilities and experience

  • Feasability studies

  • Value proposition development

  • Architect solutions

  • Roadmap / planning

  • Business case

• Desirable: Client relationship and sales capabilites

  • Client relationship development and maintenance

  • Proactive and reactive sales (origination, closure)

  • Proposal development

A solid understanding of various business areas is essential, particularly in retail -and business banking. Experience in other lines of business, such as large & corporate institutions, asset & wealth management, and private banking, is also valuable.
Strong knowledge of the financial products and services, customer journeys, processes and commonly used IT-solutions is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English and/or any of the nordic languages is highly valued in this role.

People with a local business network are of interest.
