Safety & Quality:

  • Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies
  • Stops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identified
  • Ensures project team members use and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed
  • Ensures project team follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including PPE, CoHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safety
  • Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with stakeholders
  • Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)
  • Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catches
  • Always wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designation
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment
  • Uses proper lifting techniques and works in an ergonomically correct manner
  • Follows proper change management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
  • Ensures specifications, standard and checklists are aligned with corporate guidelines
  • Leads lessons learned type activities per area of expertise
  • Supports engineering coordinators with facilitating design reviews to ensure project design meets manufacturer’s and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Partners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics
  • Coordinates with stakeholders and leaders on issues and changes, and provides regular status updates
  • Provides a high level of service with strong customer focus and builds effective relationships with supported teams
  • Demonstrates strong partnering, negotiation and teamwork skills
  • Proactively seeks and provides feedback to internal and external management regarding the quality of work being performed
  • Generates and incorporates ideas from others to influence or enable key strategic objectives
  • Actively participates in applicable department meetings
  • Collaborates with areas leaders to create personal performance and development goals
  • Communicates proactively with leaders and stakeholders on the daily priorities and issues
  • Partners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation
  • Proactively communicates issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restrictions, or lost moves
  • Broadens cross-disciplinary knowledge through new assignments
  • Uses questioning skills to better understand customer needs 
  • Interprets customer needs to identify potential opportunities
  • Provides advice and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Collaborates with internal Micron stakeholders, such as Safety, Environmental, and Legal to ensure all regulatory requirements for the projects are met 
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to secure timely funding, develop overall project strategy and critical path schedule

Project Management/Planning:

  • Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projects
  • Manages projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget
  • Tracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time
  • Defines and leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to Micron
  • Ensures regular communication to stakeholders of project status, roadblocks, and path to success
  • Clarifies and documents project scope and ensures necessary input from appropriate stakeholders
  • Ensures that scope meets requestor needs
  • Collaborates with consultant resources
  • Coordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actions
  • Follows change management procedures
  • Works with appropriate personnel to address problems or make corrections
  • Performs project cost estimates, forecasts, project cash flows and capital budget acquisition
  • Supports or develops RFQs for construction activities and may lead vendor selection
  • Monitors trends in spending to ensure alignment with project spending plan
  • Collaborates with Procurement to manage vendor contracts during execution of projects
  • Controls scope during the design and construction phases to maintain cost and schedule control
  • Provides monthly cash flow projections and construction status reports

Technical/Data Analysis:

  • Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings
  • Provides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution
  • Provides troubleshooting support for complex problems and addresses root cause 
  • Performs problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies
  • Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis
  • Eliminates single points of failure and mitigates risk
  • Partners with key stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for efficiencies
  • Maintains applicable discipline knowledge
  • Supports a culture of TPM

Qualifications:

  • Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable manner
  • Proven ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectively
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects
  • Proven skills in working effectively with team members from different disciplines
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams

  • Advanced PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root causes

  • Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis and reporting methodologies

Education and Experience: 

  • Required: Minimum - Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing
  • Preferred: Certification in Business Process Management (PMP)
