Sr. Director, Inside Sales
Allegion is seeking a strategic, data-driven Senior Director to lead Inside Sales and Virtual Sales, including the ISONAS sales team. This leader will build and scale Allegion’s inside sales capability, drive collaboration with Field Sales, optimize the use of tools and resources, align internal processes, and develop robust KPIs to fuel growth. The role requires a proven leader with a track record of scaling inside sales organizations, improving win rates, increasing sales velocity, and delivering revenue with a strong customer-first approach.

What You Will Do:
Define and execute the end-to-end Inside Sales strategy (Virtual Sales, Inside Sales, and ISONAS) aligned to Allegion’s growth goals.
Create a scalable operating model that integrates with Field Sales, Marketing, Channel Partners, and Product teams.
Establish a culture of high performance, accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
Revenue Growth and Pipeline Management
Own the inside sales forecast, revenue targets, and pipeline acceleration for all inside channels.
Develop and drive go-to-market programs and pricing/discounting strategies.
Improve win rates and time-to-value through better qualification, cadence, and objection handling.
Collaboration with Field Sales
Align Inside Sales with Field Sales to ensure seamless handoffs, joint coverage, and coordinated account strategies.
Define criteria for when to engage Inside vs. Outside teams and create a unified territory and account management framework.
Tools, Technology, and Process
Own the selection, adoption, and optimization of inside sales tools (CRM, Five9, data, analytics, marketing automation, etc.).
Standardize processes (lead routing, qualification, follow-up cadences, objection handling, quote/contract processes) to maximize efficiency and consistency.
Oversee the creation and management of playbooks, training materials, and onboarding programs.
People Leadership and Development
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Inside Sales organization.
Set clear performance expectations, develop individual and team development plans, and create succession plans.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring and management practices.
KPI Development and Analytics
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline velocity, conversion rates, average deal size, win rate, quota attainment, churn/retention, and customer satisfaction.
Deliver regular performance reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership; use data to inform strategy and investments.
Customer Experience and Value Delivery
Ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences across all inside channels.
Advocate for customer feedback loops, voice of the customer, and continuous improvement in sales processes.
Compliance, Governance, and Risk
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing governance, and contract approvals.
Manage data quality, privacy, and security within the inside sales organization.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree and MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years in B2B sales leadership with a proven track record building and scaling inside sales/virtual sales teams
Experience leading multi-channel sales organizations.
Industry Knowledge: Relevant experience in building security, access control, or building technologies industries.
Demonstrated success in leading distributed teams, change management, and cross-functional collaboration; strong coaching and leadership development capabilities.
Analytics: Strong data-driven mindset with advanced ability to analyze and act on sales metrics; proficient in CRM (Dynamics), sales analytics, and revenue forecasting.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Total Compensation Range: $221,000-$392,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
