Job Description:

Responsible for providing analytical support for New Accounts and Risk Acquisition Management, including strategy development, performance analysis, and executive and decision support analysis. Develops and manages the core operational elements of the card underwriting process. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

What You’ll Do

• Develops operational strategies for enhancing customer experience and reducing customer effort during Discover Card application process

• Works closely with Analytics to make data-driven recommendations that further reduce/automate manual processes in application process to drive down expenses

• Manages relevant vendor relationships.

• Designs business requirements and prepares presentations for management. Completes pre and post install assessments to ensure projects were implemented on time, and meet business requirements

• Collaborates with Marketing, Risk and Operational partners within Acquisition Value Stream to drive growth by identifying incremental account opportunities

• Creates and maintains controls and monitoring mechanisms to satisfy internal and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Mathematics, Statistics or Analytics

• 2+ years of Analytical, Financial services (e.g. credit card, banking, insurance or similar) or consulting.

• In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in Analytical, Financial services (e.g. credit card, banking, insurance or similar) or consulting.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
