About the Role
This role is the Group Office expert leader for AIA Group’s Leadership and Talent Management function that focuses on developing and driving programmes, curricula that are world-class, aligned to our strategy, and executed to a high standard. They are a trusted business partner and strategic advisor who will advise and deliver on programmes that address future leadership and organizational capability needs.
The role leads the annual end to end Organisation and People review cycle; working with the Group Leadership and Talent Management team, Analytics teams to facilitate robust talent dialogues with the executive team at Group Office. Join an exciting team!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of Catalyst for Growth framework in Group Office
- Design, develop and implement upskilling programmes for newly promoted managers, middle management and specialists
- Develop guideline and work with Finance on the Functional Training Curriculum development
- Drive end to end Organisation and People review in Group Office – communications, administration, preparation of talent council decks
- Drive Group Office Mentoring programme
- Work on the new GO learning initiatives – research and based on learning needs
- Champion the adoption of Leadership Essentials (LE) to support the creative culture at AIA
- Act as the representative for LIFT (Learn Integrate Focus Thrive), ensuring a flawless NEO experience for new joiners
- Serve as an LE361 Coach to debrief the in-house assessment used to obtain feedback and identify development opportunities
- Roll out ME@AIA, a programme focused on building the awareness for leaders on reinforcing mental wellness providing
- Facilitate a community of learning specialists from different functions – quarterly meetings with functional learning specialists
- Administer the training reimbursement on Workday
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Business/Human Resources or related field. Certified coach is advantageous.
- 15 plus years of experience in business, and learning and development HR in a MNC environment, holding at leadership role in regional or global centre of expertise (COE) role in People development/ Talent management
- Accreditation in Psychometric tools such as MBTI/ HOGAN/ WAVE / Strength Finder; and skilled in facilitating or debriefing in 1:1 as well as team scenarios
- Able to translate business needs into learning and development strategy.
- Skilled in designing and facilitating learning initiatives
- Experience in driving organizational change and shaping the culture
- Strong people leadership skills- able to develop successful teams
- Strong business insight, customer management and ability to influence
- Strong ability to lead end-to-end group wide projects for timelines, results; and handle stakeholder’s expectations and organisational change aspects
- Proficiency in English. Cantonese and Putonghua helpful
