Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software solutions meet the project requirements effectively and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that contribute to the overall success of the project and the satisfaction of the client. Roles & Responsibilities: - Utilize Simulink for model-based design and code generation, ensuring robust and efficient software implementations. - Adhere to established coding guidelines and best practices to maintain consistent and maintainable code. - Optimize code for performance and resource efficiency, considering real-time constraints of embedded systems. - Work with process teams to identify gaps and improve ASPICE-compliant workflows. - Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware teams, and quality assurance to ensure robust and compliant software delivery. - Contribute to software architecture and requirements engineering activities (e.g., SWE.1 and SWE.2). - Perform detailed design, implementation, and unit testing (SWE.3–SWE.4). Professional & Technical Skills: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing embedded software for automotive applications. - Strong experience in Simulink for model-based design and code generation. - Solid understanding of ASPICE processes, especially software development levels (SWE.1 to SWE.6). - Proven understanding of automotive software development standards (ISO 26262, MISRA C/C++). - Experience with coding guidelines and best practices for embedded systems development. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
