Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will engage in the ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve addressing technical issues, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring that services are running smoothly across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems, both remotely and onsite, while adhering to defined operating models and processes. Your role will also include implementing technology solutions at the operating system level across server and network areas, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of configured services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Define the operations architecture of the infrastructure, ensuring that it supports the business requirements and performance goals. - Architectural knowledge of key technologies, such as clustering, remote administration tools, directory services, or scripting, for standard tasks and troubleshooting, and design - Deep Skills and Architectural understanding of the Windows or UNIX platform, including integration into a larger, heterogeneous environment hosted on AWS Cloud and VMware - Windows or Linux server infrastructure outage management, infrastructure maintenance, incident, and problem management. - Investigate and Troubleshoot complex Infrastructure issues and provide RCAs – Severs OS, AWS and VMware. - Attend to incident, service request and problem tickets meeting KPIs. - Perform regular maintenance of servers – performance optimization, disk clean up and server reboots. Assist in antivirus troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge in Server Patching & Vulnerability management for remediation - Perform password change of root. - Perform monthly server inventory or as needed. - Perform initial troubleshooting, resolution, and RCA of server related issues. - Perform remote session administration when requested or necessary. - Create documentation, build knowledge base for known issue. - Assist in determining application files and folders usage for disk clean up. - Assist in planning and implementation of server upgrade. - Provide explanations to project teams about standard and nonstandard work performed on their systems. - On-Call Support, if necessary. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux Operations, Vmware Virtualization Administration, Microsoft Windows Server Administration. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management and deployment. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. - Familiarity with network protocols and security measures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Administration. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
