Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions - Part & Services Division is now looking for a Documentation and Training Support Specialist focusing on Business IT Systems for their Part and Services Division.  Are you looking to embark on an exciting career with an international team, if so please keep reading.

Currently we have an opening for a Documentation and Training Support Specialist to support digital transformation of Service Operations globally.  The Service Platform Program and related projects introduce new solution to support service delivery execution and asset information management.  The solution will digitalize our service operations, improving our information flow, fleet information capture and much more in the future.  The goal of the program is not only to introduce new technology, but also drive new business change and support continuous operational improvements.

About the Job
In this role you will join a team of Change and Training Specialists and be part of an exciting digital transformation of our Service Operations worldwide. You will be responsible for organizing and managing training and process documentation, ensuring their consistency, and facilitating easy access across our diverse user community. While your central focus will be working with Key User groups, you will also work with our program delivery teams.  The support may include preparation and running of governance forums or collaboration meetings, managing logistics and scheduling of training events, including the capture of minutes, actions, issues, etc. and distribution of meeting notes once complete.

This position requires exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain productive relationships with teams within the organization. The Documentation and Training Support will partner with another Specialist to lead and support learning events, develop eLearns, conduct research, produce resources and guidance, and facilitate ongoing knowledge base development and engagement.

About You
We are looking for someone with a sound working knowledge of Learning management systems, training administration and documentation.
Experience developing eLearning material or Instructional Design skill will also be highly regarded.

Furthermore, we would like you to have the following knowledge, skills & experience:


Required Competencies

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications, MS-Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint essential
  • Development of training material in both hard print and e-learning environments
  • Experience in working with Learning Management Systems (Adobe Prime, Workday)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to apply them at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a local and remote virtual team environment.
  • Developing systems and user documentation
  • Training scheduling and management
  • Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tool.

This role will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You report directly to the Change & Training Manager.
