Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager to lead our 24x7 NOC team and ensure the stability, performance, and availability of enterprise and cloud network infrastructure. The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, hands-on networking expertise, and excellent client communication and vendor management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of ~15 NOC engineers in a 24x7 support environment
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability across LAN/WAN and cloud environments
Drive incident management, escalation handling, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Manage major incidents (P1/P2), lead bridge calls, and ensure timely communication and resolution
Prepare and present incident reports, RCA documents, and service updates to leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for client communication during critical incidents and outages
Manage escalations with ISPs and vendors to ensure circuit stability and SLA adherence
Track, analyze, and report SLA performance metrics
Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external service providers
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and monitoring enhancements
Maintain SOPs, operational documentation, and reporting dashboards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
12+ years of experience in networking / network operations field
4+ years of experience in leadership or managerial role
Strong knowledge of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, MPLS)
Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) and QoS
Hands-on experience in cloud networking (Azure and/or AWS)
Proven experience in client communication and managing ISP/vendor escalations
Strong background in handling major incidents and leadership reporting
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: CCNP / CCIE / Microsoft Azure (AZ-700)
Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud network environments
Exposure to large-scale enterprise or global network operations
