The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Product Owner / Scrum Master who will be accountable and responsible for assisting in the implementation of a strategy for adoption of agile project management across the organization. You will be responsible for assisting teams in project decomposition and user story creation. You will lead agile ceremonies; stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. You will also be own the tracking of metrics for individual agile teams to help provide insights and feedback on progress towards working in an agile framework. You will help set up new Jira projects / boards / structures for teams beginning their agile transformation.

This position is located at our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) - located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs. Northrop Grumman’s ATL semiconductor foundry is a unique capability supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, and Silicon Carbide) and providing leading edge technology development in Superconducting Electronics and Super-Lattice Castellated Field-Effect Transistors (SLCFET). Our devices enable Northrop Grumman’s ground-based radars, airborne radars, and space systems.

The candidate must have experience working in an agile environment, excellent communication skills, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business.

Basic Qualifications Product Owner Scrum Master:

• Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience (0 years with Masters)

• Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

• Must have advanced knowledge of Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Must have advanced experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies

• Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner

• Must be a US citizen

• Must be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Basic Qualifications Principal Product Owner Scrum Master:

• Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with a Masters, 0 with a PhD)

• Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

• Must have advanced knowledge of Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Must have advanced experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies

• Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner

• Must be a US citizen

• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor foundry is preferred, or related experience in process or other production #NGMCFab

Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00Salary Range 2: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
