Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that solutions are effectively implemented across multiple teams, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency in application delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and custom Salesforce solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable LWC designs.
- Review code for quality, reusability, and adherence to best practices.
- Guide the team on modern Salesforce UI patterns, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Work closely with architects to define front-end architecture and integration with Salesforce backend and external systems.
- Conduct unit testing, deployment reviews, and ensure compliance with governance and release processes.
- Mentor and train junior developers; promote LWC reusability and component library practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, QA teams, and release managers to ensure smooth delivery.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- 10–14 years of total IT experience with at least 8+ years in Salesforce development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Apex, and Visualforce.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Salesforce UI framework.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Model, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, SFDX CLI, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Copado, Harness, etc.).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II / JavaScript Developer I certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to lead a small to mid-size development team.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
