Job Description Summary

The Statistical Programmer II will support, or lead non-complex, statistical programming activities conducted on client clinical projects, producing high quality deliverables to agreed timelines, while following relevant standard operating procedures.

ROLE

The Statistical Programmer II will support, or lead non-complex, statistical programming activities conducted on client clinical projects, producing high quality deliverables to agreed timelines, while following relevant standard operating procedures. 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Act as support statistical programmer on clinical projects  

  • Act as lead statistical programmer on non-complex clinical projects 

  • Specify, program and validate CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets 

  • Specify, program and validate the statistical analysis results including analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures 

  • Produce and review CDISC documentation 

  • Create and validate randomization lists 

  • Ensure compliance to SOPs 

  • Provide guidance on tasks carried out by statistical programmers 

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external project teams 

  • Participate to internal initiatives to improve department processes 

  • Report issues to Project Manager/Associate Director in an appropriate timeframe 

  • Conduct other statistical programming related activities as required

DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BSc/MSc or equivalent with experience, preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics  

  • At least 1 year of experience in statistical programming 

  • Good SAS programming skills 

  • Good R language programming skills

  • Good knowledge of principles and techniques for clinical research 

  • Good English communication  

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
