We are seeking to hire a candidate with strong financial operations, automation, and development skills to join our global Clearing team based in Asia. You will be part of a group that ensures the reliable flow of our trading activity between our various trading venues and clearing firms across the globe.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to the global clearing team by providing production support and handling reconciliations.
- Work closely with other operations teams - risk, trade desk support and trading operations trades to coordinate activities and ensure seamless processing of transactions.
- Reconcile discrepancies between internal records and external counterparties, resolving any issues promptly.
- Liaise with exchange, brokers, custodians, and other financial institutions to confirm trade details and settlement instructions.
- Learn Jump's in-house trading system and back-office system, and manages all new clearing processes as necessary
- Handle trading session setups, trader ID configurations and accounts management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Stay informed about changes in market practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends affecting clearing operations.
- Participate in audits and regulatory examinations, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Participate in new business onboarding including new broker, new product and new venues.

Skills You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in clearing, settlement, or related financial operations.
- Strong understanding of securities markets, financial instruments, and trade lifecycle.
- Knowledge of clearing/settlements procedures, exchange systems, future expiration and deliveries
- Display strong attention to detail and maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of work under strict time constraint
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to exercise good judgment and pro-active decision-making skills both independently and collaboratively with team members, peers and management in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on public holidays within global clearing team.
