Job Description:

The Major Account Executive is responsible for achieving their assigned sales plan by generating profitable UPS revenue growth through the development of new business and the retention of existing business within their assigned accounts, in the key non-country wide customer segment. He/She analyzes customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions and promptly respond to customers’ requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue streams for UPS by developing new business relationships and managing existing partnerships between UPS and designated distributors based in its territories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute business plans sales and revenue goals by developing sales strategies, building exciting customer solutions and presentations that match up the customer’s requirements to UPS’s broad portfolio of products and services of Express Delivery.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with multiple senior decision-makers within customers’ and UPS organizations.
  • Robust pipeline management using Salesforce and other reporting tools.
  • Maintain a book of business, build account strategy roadmaps and manage contract renewals and compliance.
  • Monitor competitor performance and industry news, share and collaborate across teams to leverage our competitive intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Ambition and drive to win
  • University degree holder, preferably in Logistics / Supply Chain or Business
  • Minimum 2 years’ complex selling experience
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Flexible to travel domestically and if required internationally
  • Collaborating with other regions and time zones means you’ll be flexible with working hours
