Job Type: Remote - The candidate can be based in CA, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, or Utah.

Job Summary

The Clinical Implementation Specialist (CIS) will coordinate post-sale customer education and training initiatives, and act as the clinical and technical expert for the ZOLL hospital product line. Within the direction of the Clinical Education Team, the CIS works collaboratively with the Territory Manager throughout the sales process, and builds deep, long lasting customer relationships to encourage ongoing utilization of ZOLL hospital products and achievement of desired clinical outcomes within an account.

The CIS utilizes principles of adult learning in the assessment, program planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the educational process. Emphasis is on competency skill assessment and development of all clinical staff through Identification of learning needs. Coordination and provision of educational offerings including orientation, formal continuing education and in-services, are a major function of this role. The CIS serves as a resource to staff of all levels and provides direct training/education of newly hired staff and new customers through facilitation of the preceptor model.

The CIS actively participates in leadership of quality Improvement processes and affecting process and protocol changes within the account's resuscitation algorithm. Other duties assigned may include support to the sales team, speaking opportunities all trade shows, attendance at trade shows for the company booth and training distributor partners as needed, or other functions as needed. The successful CIS develops and maintains customer relationships and is capable of operating in a self-directive role.

The CIS is uniquely assigned to large hospital systems and manages the implementation from a system-wide perspective through end-users.

Essential Functions

  • Act as a project manager in planning/developing/executing all educational and training events in a customer account.
  • Assist with and/or initiating in-servicing events in existing and new accounts.
  • Communicate leads and account updates to outside Territory Manager.
  • Provide input to prepare additional materials as needed in the support of sales and training.
  • Organize and conducting educational events in existing or new accounts.
  • Act as a clinical and technical product expert for all ZOLL Hospital products, in order to discuss the chain of resuscitation.
  • Be a passionate advocate for improving patient outcomes in an inpatient hospital setting.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree BA or BS preferred
  • RN, Paramedic, or RT with 5+ years of experience required
  • AHA Instructor - BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred
  • Clinical education experience preferred
  • Project management experience preferred

Travel Requirements

  • Availability to travel up to 75%, current passport required

The annual salary range for this position can range from $86,000 - $95,000. The actual compensation may vary outside of this range depending on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
