Job Description
IT Project Managers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Plan and manage information technology (IT) projects for the delivery of software solutions. Deliver IT technologies, including IT infrastructure, general principles and practices of software methodologies. Identify, organize, and manage information systems projects. Maintain technology and consulting relationships, service delivery, and overall performance related to assigned projects and software. Participate in long-term road map planning of software. Monitor and track release milestones for software projects, facilitate the mitigation of issues and risks, provide status and metrics reporting at project and portfolio level. Work on cross functional IT infrastructure and application development projects coaching software development scrum teams' status and metrics reporting at project and portfolio level. Collaborate with various teams regarding changes and improvements to assigned software. Technical environment: Agile methodologies, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile Methodologies, Agile Central tools/features for progress tracking, continuous improvements, (Rally Insights, Milestones, Kanban Board, Burnup/Burndown chart, cumulative flow diagram, enhanced velocity chart, Release/Sprint planning, capacity planning, Custom apps); Jira; Scrum and Kanban processes and performance; AWS.


Job Requirements
*Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software/Information Systems or any Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager or with IT Project Management required. Required skills: must have previous IT project management experience, cross functional IT infrastructure and application development projects coaching software development scrum teams, status and metrics reporting at project and portfolio level; Scrum, Kanban; Agile Methodologies, Agile Central tools/features for progress tracking, continuous improvements (Rally Insights, Milestones, Kanban Board, Burnup/Burndown chart, cumulative flow diagram, enhanced velocity chart, Release/Sprint planning, capacity planning), Jira. Telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software/Information Systems or any Engineering or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience as an IT Project Manager or with IT Project Management also acceptable).
