What impact you’ll make:

The HDGT NU Gas Turbine Cost Leader will be responsible for managing daily activities and process improvement for Cost management (ITO costing, handbook and EAC) for Heavy Duty Gas Turbines. They will own the consolidation of planning and reporting activities for their respective handbooks and should work in strong partnership with the GT Product Management, EAC, Global Supply Chain and Pivot to Value teams, as well as the HDGT NU business line leadership.

The leader of the HDGT NU Gas Turbine Cost team will report to the HDGT NU ITR Cost Leader, and will be an active contributor to setting the handbook on an annual basis, track evolution of actual costs against the handbook (EAC reporting), support ITO quotation, and identify opportunity to reduce product costs working with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and P2V teams.

What you’ll do :

  • Lead daily management activities and drive harmonization and continuous improvements for the gas turbine costing processes (required to feed both inventory finance management activities as well as deals’ modeling/quotations)
  • Utilize lean principles and problem-solving methods to drive efficiency and automation, including AI. Assess and develop strategy around analytics, identifying/driving operational accountability through KPIs.
  • Partner with the Operational and Finance leadership to evolve and drive operating rhythms around GT product cost and product cost out in order to help achieve long term product cost productivity for the HDGT segment of the Gas Power business
  • Ensure complete & accurate feedback loop of product cost changes to enable required update DOA triggers. Support the identification of product cost dynamics which hinder competitiveness to enable an informed influencing of Product Strategy and investments
  • Optimize linkage with FP&A and Commercial Finance to strengthen financial forecasting processes for product cost
  • Support ITO quotations providing the necessary assistance to effectively respond to requests for proposals or bids in order to secure contracts for supplying equipment

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Minimum significant experience of Finance, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a Gas Power Business leading change
  • Able to influence key finance and operational stakeholders as well as technical teams
  • Knowledge of SAP (PMx) financial modules

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $107,600.00 and $179,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
