The Data & Analytics Manager will help advance the impact of analytics across Zeno Group as a strategic partner to our clients and they will contribute to a culture of increased data literacy and data-driven decision making. You will be responsible for working as part of our Data & Analytics Hub team based in Mumbai working on various client projects serving both internal stakeholders and external clients across Asia. You will work well in an entrepreneurial environment, be keen to innovate, and be capable of melding social listening, research and digital analytics together. The person in this role will be actively managing multiple projects / programs across several clients and will be comfortable speaking both ‘business’ and ‘data’ with our internal teams, external vendors and our clients to conduct discovery conversations. They will continuously innovate and improve the ways we report and measure results for our clients to better understand key insights that answer critical business questions, and they will be able to communicate results quantitatively, contextually and with a “storytelling” mindset to various levels stakeholders including the C-Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our Director, Data & Analytics based in Singapore to co-ordinate work across various analytics projects in the region and globally
• Use, train, and evangelize best in class tools and capabilities to support data and insight needs for integrated marketing across Zeno Group
• Help mentor, manage, and work side-by-side with junior team members
• Consistently take on and assist in new business data research and analysis projects to support growth
• Communicate complex concepts to non-technical business stakeholders (internal & external), this includes guiding the analytics discovery process and leading the results interpretation
• Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous specifications into relevant analytics insights with a high degree of data integrity and reporting agility
Qualifications:
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting or measurement projects required. Should be comfortable with interpretation of data and metrics.
• Experienced in at least 3+ social analytics, media monitoring and using digital measurement tools such as such as, Tableau, Google Analytics, Talkwalker, Cision, MuckRack, Meltwater, Newswhip, Brandwatch, Helixa, Traackr, BuzzSumo, Quid, Similar Web etc. required
• Ability to conceptualize and perform data analysis, quantitative and qualitative, and have experience generating custom reports in Powerpoint or atleast 1 BI tool such as Looker, PowerBI etc.
• Experience in ad setup and operations, including creating ad placements, targeting parameters and implementing tracking pixels is a plus
• Advanced Excel expertise required – confidence in vlookups, pivot tables, IF statements, creative formula creation and troubleshooting is a must.
• An understanding of digital marketing and communications and the various metrics that are associated with them
• Must be able to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize tasks.
• Working knowledge of data mining concepts: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems a plus
• Demonstrate strong understanding of English language as mandatory requirement
• Fluent in other languages used in APAC will be highly valued
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
