The role
The Network Planning Commercial Analyst role will support the growth, expansion and profitability plans of 7-Eleven’s retail store network. The role will be responsible for:
Supporting the Network Planning and Fuel team to develop the store network plan, identify and analyse new store opportunities.
Supporting Network Planning analyse new store opportunities, undertake market assessments, compile and distribute the regular reporting requirements for business.
Supporting the Fuel team to analyse, review and forecast fuel metrics for new and existing stores.
Engage withFuel teams to gain expertise into the store design process to drive best practice fuel store design principles and operational excellence.
The collation, development and maintenance of data used to support and investigate network planning opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in retail site selection and market analysis, (preferably with convenience and/or fuel stores), creation of related research reports, while working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What you’ll be doing
Work closely with the Network Planning Manager and the Fuel Team to:
Develop the network plan for 7-Eleven to identify new store and expansion opportunities.
Evaluate and prepare market assessments for fuel and non-fuel store opportunities.
Support the analysis and reporting needs for the Network Planning and Fuelteams across the 7-Eleven business.Source, collate and manage of data sets used for market assessments and research purposes.
Utilise GIS / spatial data sets for network planning and site evaluation.
Collaborate with teams across the 7-Eleven business to provide strategic insights supporting store network growth and build robust project business cases.
What’s in your toolkit?
3 to 5 years’ experience in retail/fuel store network planning (client side preferred).
Proficiency in market analysis and data-driven decision-making, using best-in-class tools.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a high-performance environment.
Commitment to enhancing customer experience and satisfaction through strategic network planning and optimisation.
Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Adobe Acrobat
Experience in Store Impact studies and Project Implementation Reviews (PIR)
Exposure to GIS (MapInfo) used in retail analysis.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
