About The Role: 

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product. One component is the sensor, installed on endpoint client systems that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud. The Cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network and can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, presenting our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

Join CrowdStrike and become a key leader in building the most innovative endpoint security solution in the world.  Our Sensor Development Experience team is responsible for creating, building and optimizing the pipelines and tools that create and validate our sensor.

As an Engineering Manager for our lab team, you will be expected to have ownership of projects related to ongoing sensor validation. Our lab teams’ duties include understanding the development and test processes across multiple platforms. The team implements solutions to ensure the validation matches real-world expectations. 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide technical and managerial leadership on the Sensor Development Experience development team. Responsibilities include driving test strategies, building a product roadmap, mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance and driving projects to completion.

  • Troubleshooting complex environments, software integrations and issues related to sensor reliability while supporting sensor engineers.

  • Support sensor release teams with service level agreements and operational goals.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.

What You'll Need:

  • Advanced knowledge of Python across multiple operating systems.

  • Advanced knowledge Jenkins pipelines and scripting.

  • Advanced knowledge of product quality strategies including manual testing, automation, white or black box testing at massive scale.

  • Experience working with and leading teams to define and execute on major projects.

  • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, partner and work effectively in a distributed team.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong background in scalable, light-weight and high performing systems.

  • Familiarity and experience with Agile process.

  • Knowledge and expertise in the cyber-security landscape.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $210,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
