The opportunity: 

As a member of the Health and Risk Solutions Reporting COE Team, you will drive the successful development and delivery of accurate and timely reporting supporting senior management decision making.  In addition, you will act as a key finance contact supporting data and reporting related projects.  This role requires an individual with a proven track record of delivering professional work products with a strong attention to detail.  We are looking for a self-starter who is inquisitive and has a strong sense of ownership and continuous-improvement mind-set

How you will contribute: 

  • Develop and deliver daily and monthly reporting, along with ad hoc analysis to support our business partners.
  • Develop end user tools/reporting that can be leveraged for analysis.
  • Work within the team, partnering with IT to establish a new reporting/data environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, articulating the rationale for the change and impact. 
  • Identify and escalate issues while proposing options towards resolution.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, as requested.

  • Accountability:  Works independently and can complete assigned tasks under general supervision. Demonstrated ability to produce quality work product with attention to detail.
  • Communication:  Communicates effectively with others and can clearly and concisely express opinions, conclusions, and recommendations.  Frequently interacts with internal peers and with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role, utilizing large amounts of disparate data to deliver value added reporting/analysis to customers
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. Capable of effectively prioritizing concurrent deliverables and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in deadline-oriented environment managing multiple priorities
  • Healthcare/Insurance Industry experience highly desired
  • Familiarity with Claims Data preferred

Technical knowledge / skills:

  • Comfort in assembling/manipulating large amounts of data for use in analysis/reporting
  • Experience developing interactive reporting that supports management decision making
  • Experience utilizing SSRS or similar SQL based applications a must 
  • Experience with Tableau

  • Southern California region: 83,400-125,100 annually
  • Central California region: 87,900-131,900 annually
  • Northern California region: 93,900-140,900 annually

If you are a Minnesota, Colorado or Nevada resident, the salary range for this position is 79,500-119,300 annually

If you are a Illinois, Connecticut or Maryland resident, the salary range for this position is 83,400-125,100 annually

If you are Washington, Washington D.C., and Rhode Island resident, the salary range for this position is 87,900-131,900 annually

If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is 93,900-140,900 annually
