Position Overview:

Autodesk’s Quality Engineering Services team under GET Sales Org is seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team of excellent engineers who are responsible for increasing the quality of our products and building a self-service Testing platform to improve engineering productivity. In this role, you will be driving the development of end-to-end integration tests, automation frameworks, and an in-house testing platform to have robust automated testing pipelines. This is a hands-on role in which you will design and code comprehensive testing frameworks while taking on a technical leadership role, improving the productivity of our development/QE teams and bringing standardization to our processes and practices. Reporting to the Leader of Quality Engineering, you will collaborate with multiple engineering teams building products/services using various software stack and platform development teams to ensure that we are shipping the highest quality service possible at each weekly release. Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks utilized by team to automate critical user scenarios for regression testing
* Co-ordinate automation test planning and integration test activities with all the stakeholders
* Partner with Cross functional Engineering team to investigate, troubleshoot and identify/implement fixes for customer facing issues
* Develop and document UI and integrated test automation and application framework enhancements in Java and JavaScript technologies
* Participate in code reviews, design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements in code quality
* Develop automation test scripts for web based testcase & Api testcases
* Provide Recommendation on best practice of Quality Assurance
 

Minimum Qualifications:

* 8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
* Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch
* Must have development experience in Java, Playwright with JavaScript/typescript
* Must have working experience in Salesforce Application
* Experience developing test automation tools and frameworks
* Experience with various developer and CI/CD management tools e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory
* Experience with testing services and applications on Cloud computing platforms like AWS
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of standard quality best practices, techniques and methodologies to drive continuous quality improvements
* Self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines and demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Should be a good team player with prior liaison and collaboration experience with senior leaders
 

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Being able to effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner and ability to coordinate cross-team efforts
* Comfortable with defect and test management and other tools like Jira, Wiki
* Experience with setting up Test data and testing in multiple environments
