Job Summary

You will work on-site in the Russellville Plant, reporting to the Lean Supply Chain Manager. You will be accountable for the coordination and movement of materials throughout the plant, warehouse, outside storage and yards. You will help us find opportunities for improvement in material storage and flow, process and reporting, and systems improvements. You will also lead Material Handlers and Warehouse Loaders in all aspects of interplant logistics and warehouse operations. You will work with Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, Operations, Safety, and Quality to ensure production goals are met.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will monitor safety within the department to provide a safe and efficient operation.
  • Oversee training program for forklift operators and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • You will help us promote plant and department OIR targets and safety goals.
  • Responsible for compliance of HACCP and all Quality programs.
  • Monitor work methods to manage overall product to meet quality goals.
  • You will help us manage warehouse activities over all inventory levels on all shifts.
  • Coordinate with ConAgra Fleet to ensure movement of product.
  • Support SAP systems, all training, and adherence to achieve plant goals.
  • Direct Leadership in ConAgra Performance Systems and implementation.
  • Directly coordinate shipping and receiving with plant locations and IMC's.
  • Manage outside warehouse by reviewing cost of storage and palletizing process.
  • You will coach your team on personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions.

Position Qualifications

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A Bachelors' Degree in a supply chain, logistics or business-related field is preferred.
  • We require three (3) years of experience working a Receiving Warehouse environment.
  • We prefer some experience using SAP for inventory management.

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this job, you are required to talk and hear, and sit for up to 8 hours a day. You will frequently use hands to touch and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend or stoop, kneel, and crawl; and taste and smell. You must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. You will experience a noisy manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold, dry or wet, and may have slippery conditions. You will work at height in some situations and also may work in closed spaces.
