Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Regional Medical Affairs Advisor (Based in Italy) role will make an impact:
The Regional Medical Affairs Advisor will work collaboratively with Medical and Marketing teams to review promotional, regulatory, training and continuing medical education material in compliance with relevant SOPs/ regulations/ industry codes/ working practices and advocating best practices for achieving effective and complaint medical and promotional communications for Viatris products.
This role has regional scope of responsibilities, requiring regular interaction with country medical leads, medical affairs global therapeutic area leads and external vendors to support the business needs, foster professional environment and to maintain high standard in customer service worldwide.
Liaises with all commercial functions in the review for scientific/ medical accuracy prior to and through the medical review process as required.
Ensuring clear, factual, effective, and appropriately concise presentation of analyses and associated discussions in assigned documents.
Collaborating with other lines and relevant project team subject matter experts, ensuring the accuracy and quality of information presented in assigned documents.
Assists in generating and reviewing any additional support content, including proof reading, reviewing, referencing, and verifying anti-plagiarism of the content.
Delivers assigned documents on or before deadline, alerting project teams in a timely manner of any anticipated delays, information gaps or potential shortcomings in quality.
Conduct quality control assessments of assigned deliverables as required.
Keeps abreast of current literature, emerging science, publishing industry landscape and medical trends for enhancing publication metrics through internal process improvements.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
The ideal candidate will hold a Scientific or Medical degree or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, awareness of compliance issues and guidelines around medical affairs is essential for this role.
Strong understanding of and adherence to regulatory policies governing scientific interactions with HCPs and patients.
Experience with data management (CRM/CMS platforms) and informatics/analytics would be desirable.
Has ability to manage projects and processes to agreed quality and timelines.
Demonstrates a good understanding of customer-based needs and issues and manages priorities appropriately and independently; Identifies and builds effective relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
Advanced/Fluent English and Italian is a requirement for this position.
