About the project


ACCIONA delivers major civil, rail, water and specialist infrastructure across Australia. The Specialist Businesses support national operations through technical capability and reliable service delivery. This role supports Mechanical & Electrical and other business units. You will partner with teams that drive safety, performance and operational delivery. Your work will help maintain a capable and engaged workforce.

About the Opportunity


Based in Perth the HR Advisor supports people leaders with clear, practical HR advice and manages key employee lifecycle steps. You deliver onboarding, guide probation reviews and coordinate employee exits. You provide advice on ER matters, policy interpretation and workforce planning. You partner with senior HR leads on investigations, case work and enterprise agreement activity. This role suits someone who works well with busy operational teams and responds quickly to issues.
 

What are the key accountabilities for the position?

  • Scope roles, refine criteria and support fair hiring steps
  • Advise leaders on performance, conduct and employee relation issues
  • Manage onboarding, monitor probation and oversee exit steps
  • Draft correspondence, contracts and employee relation documents
  • Analyse HR and workforce data to identify risks and trends
  • Coordinate HR, wellbeing and training programs
  • Support senior HR leads with investigations and EA work

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource or Business
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a generalist HR based role
  • Strong working knowledge of HR and ER legislation
  • Demonstrated experience building strong stakeholder engagement
