Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and collaborative Finance Business Partner to support our Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO), Enterprise Excellence, and GBS Real Estate functions. You will serve as the primary financial advisor to Senior Director-level leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable strategy.

This individual will be responsible for conducting various enterprise-wide financial activities including budgeting, modeling, forecasting, month-end accounting and reporting. S/he will provide analytical insight and financial consulting to senior management including financial presentations and reporting support to Senior leadership business partners. This role will be a key asset in the future growth and advancement of the FP&A function critical to providing insights and supporting ‘optimal’ business decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Stewardship & Business Partnership

  • Advisory: Act as the dedicated finance partner for Senior Directors, providing insights that influence budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic direction.

  • Forecast & Close: Lead the monthly forecast and close cycles for assigned groups, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses, accruals, and headcount.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the creation of "bottoms-up" forecast and budget packages, delivering detailed variance analysis across revenue, cost of sales, and capital. 

  • KPI Development and Monitoring: Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance to drive better decision-making.

  • Recharging & Allocations: Execute and manage the complex charge-out processes inherent to the EPMO and Enterprise Excellence groups, ensuring accuracy across global cost centers.

Business Case & Investment Support

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models for proposed enterprise projects, calculating Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Periods.

  • Reporting Support: Provide critical data and analytical support for business cases, ensuring project leads have accurate financial projections and ROI metrics.

  • Value Realization Tracking: Post-implementation, monitor and report on the actual financial performance of projects versus the original business case to ensure promised savings or revenues are realized.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Efficiency Driver: Proactively identify and solve process bottlenecks, using a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies in how financial performance is measured.

  • Communication: Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to distill technical financial information into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with a focus on P&L analysis and financial modeling

Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA/Power Query preferred) and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data visualization tools.
