Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the Veritas NetBackup Administration system or application. You will be dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world-class systems running smoothly. Your typical day will involve accurately defining client issues and interpreting and designing resolutions based on your deep product knowledge. You will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Assist clients in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Veritas NetBackup Administration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems. - Provide timely and effective technical support to clients via phone, email, or chat. - Document and track client issues, ensuring accurate and detailed records. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Veritas NetBackup Administration updates and enhancements. - Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of Veritas NetBackup Administration systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veritas NetBackup Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Veritas NetBackup Appliances. - Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Veritas NetBackup Administration. - Knowledge of Veritas NetBackup Administration best practices. - Familiarity with Veritas NetBackup Administration installation and configuration. - Ability to analyze and interpret log files for troubleshooting purposes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Veritas NetBackup Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
