Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Airframe Performance Systems (AP&S) Project Management Manager to join our Commercial Modifications & Maintenance (CM&M) team in Long Beach, CA.  onsite.

This position is for a First-Line Manager who will oversee the execution of AP&S projects, with responsibility for on-time performance and profit / loss. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across organizations. Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage project management specialist for AP&S programs
  • Manage employees performing business management activities in the area of Project Management
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 + years’ relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in contracts and proposals
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Prior experience within commercial aviation AP&S
  • Prior experience with project management
  • Prior people management experience

Summary Pay Range: 126,650 – 171,350
