Roles and Responsibilities
Develop winning strategies to generate new revenue opportunities with customers
Lead customer negotiations and internal risk review process to close profitable and executable orders
Utilize in-depth knowledge of product lines, markets, sales processes and customers to execute strategy related to performance upgrade technologies. Use judgment to make decisions or solve complex problems
Be principal owner and driver of the transactional CM&U details related to pricing, technical, financial and commercial inputs to support deal closure
Understand customer's business case for upgrades, including upfront capital, cash flow analysis, NPV/IRR, and payback period
Proposal generation for proposed upgrades
Mobilize and lead multifunctional Onshore Wind support teams to implement strategies (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Finance, Contracts, Project Management, Legal, Field Services)
Drive process rigor and other improvements in the overall Inquiry-to-Order process
Support achievement of Commercial team metrics related to orders, sales and margin
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry work experience
At least 2 years prior experience with sales, contract negotiations, customer specification review, proposal development or contract development for equipment and/or service sales
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 10 - 20%)
Desired Characteristics:
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of internal cross functional teams and external customer personnel
Strong motivation and ability to work with little supervision or guidance
Ability to understand technical operational matters and translate them to commercial and financial analyses and decision making
Familiarity with Contractual Service Agreements, and ability to read, understand and implement legal contracts
Strong leadership, financial and commercial skills
Strong learning skills and the ability to independently research, understand, and implement knowledge in new areas
Ability to work seamlessly across a wide range of disciplines both within and outside of GE
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,600.00 and $181,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
