A Day in the Life
Assist Project team with project planning, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects
Effectively and accurately communicate project information and updates to the project team
Organize and maintain Fredericton shop to ensure field staff have controlled and prompt access to our facility
Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assist project team in compliance with QC
Attend On-site meeting in greater Fredericton area
Attend pre-tender meetings in Fredericton area with some occasional travel throughout the province, with ability to retrieve site measurements/project information at roof level
Assist production team with preparing prices, reviewing contracts, and accepted quotations
Be cognizant of Flynn’s Health and Safety policies and Flynn’s responsibility as an employer. Be able to report and address health and safety concerns if they arise
What We Are Seeking
Recent graduate of a Construction or Engineering & Technologies program or a related educational field, or have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a construction environment.
Experience in a Construction environment, experience in Commercial Roofing is an asset.
Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in MS office package, additional experience with MS Project and Bluebeam is an asset
Ability to multitask and work in a team environment, and work independently
Valid Driver’s license is required, travel to work sites in the surrounding areas and occasionally other parts of New Brunswick is expected
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
