At Motorola Solutions, we're guided by a shared purpose - helping people be their best in the moments that matter - and we live up to our purpose every day by solving for safer. Because people can only be their best when they not only feel safe, but are safe. We're solving for safer by building the best possible technologies across every part of our safety and security ecosystem. That's mission-critical communications devices and networks, AI-powered video security & access control and the ability to unite voice, video and data in a single command center view. We're solving for safer by connecting public safety agencies and enterprises, enabling the collaboration that's critical to connect those in need with those who can help. The work we do here matters.
This is mainly a remote role with adhoc travel to our Rugby / UK offices as expected.
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Specialist, you will play a critical role within the security team to configure and optimise security tooling such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Identity Management and Extended Detection and Response. This is primarily a hands on technical role involved in security programme initiatives. Secondly, you will be working with project/programme managers to advise and guide on security solutions, controls and risk mitigations.
You will also work with technical teams (IT/Infrastructure) to ensure that hardening standards are adhered to and to ensure integration of security tooling.
Your expertise in security-by-design (SbD), process development, and cloud computing security best practices will guide and enhance our security posture.
Your communication skills will ensure effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners. With your hands-on experience in automation, SIEM (particularly Splunk), and extended detection and response (preferably Palo Alto Cortex XDR), you will drive our capabilities in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. Your understanding of security compliance and industry standards will be vital in maintaining and improving our compliance posture.
